Survived Hurricane Katrina

Friday 18 January, 2008

I recieved my carnivorous plants about 2 weeks before hurricane Katrina in perfect condition. I am happy to say they survived the storm very well. The were out of sunlight for about 48 hours, but no harm was done to the plants. I also recently found an Asian pitcher at a local nursery and purchased it for 15 bucks!!!!  The lady never knew what she had. Thanks to your web site I was able to revive the plant and it is very healthy again and growing some beautiful pitchers. I also rescued 2 Venus flytraps from Lowe's. They were not very healthy looking when I got them home, but repotted them and put them outside (where they should have been from the start), and gave them some good RO water. They are doing very well now. Thanks again for all your help and I look forward to purchasing more plants from you.
