We have high hopes for this hybrid!
Nepenthes spathulata is known for its large leathery pitchers and flared peristome (lip).
Nepenthes mira is known for its large red tubby pitchers and is sometimes referred to as the
Nepenthes rajah of the Philippines. With parents like these, you can expect to see fairly large pitchers on this hybrid.
The bulbous pitchers are cream-colored and mottled with orange flecks. The plant itself is very hardy, as you might expect from a hybrid. Grow it in a sunny south window and keep the soil moist at all times. While it is considered a highland plant, it grows well as a houseplant.
