D. scorpiodes - Pygmy Sundew

4 Plant Points

This plant is the tallest of the Pygmy Sundews and reaches a towering height of 2 inches! It can nab gnats and fruit flies out of the air as if it were King Kong snatching airplanes out of the sky. If you take out your magnifying glass and look very closely, you will see the sundew's tentacles wrapped around insects.

In late fall, this sundew will produce tiny reproductive buds called gemmae. You can increase the size of your colony by simply sowing the gemmae on moist soil.
