Moorei, Funky Flower

The name says it all.  It's a variety of the Moorei hybrid, but it has a pink funky flower.   It seems to point horizontally rather than vertically towards the ground.  The upper portions of the pitcher have reddish brown and dark green veins contrasted against a greenish white background. The pitchers also have a maroon splotch on its throat, a characteristic of S. flava var. rugelii. 

All plants are divisions from select mother plants in our collection. Pot size indicates the size and potential growth of each rhizome. The larger the pot, the larger the rhizome and overall plant size. Look for its best pitchers of the season in late summer and early fall.
