Customer Review:
When I was younger, I, like many, became fascinated with carnivorous plants such as the Venus Flytrap. But, unfortunately, after my parents go it and put it on their kitchen windowsill, everything failed as many first time growers face with. I eventually went online and looked for any information. Some sites showed plants in a terrarium. I failed on that attempt.

Finally, I bought one from Sarracenia Northwest. I also later got their recently released DVD. I have to say it is the first of its kind, and it does a WONDERFUL job going through both basic and advanced techniques.

Its simplistic main menu is easy to navigate. The information is provided with video instructions and pretty much everything that a grower needed to know was listed. I especially liked the overview at the end of each episode as it further solidifies the knowledge in my brain.

The video goes through all the temperate species. The high quality photos and music were a nice touch, too. Language is easy to understand.

I believe that anyone should get their hands on this DVD. For the first DVD that goes in depth in carnivorous plants, this one is outstanding. I hope to expect more volumes to come out.

Overall, if this was one some newspaper review or something, I would give it 5/5 for doing a great job. Keep up the good work, Sarracenia Northwest.
