S. rubra ssp. wherryi - Wherry Sweet Pitcher, Red Flowers

$19.95

10 Plant Points

Like the canebrake sweet pitcher, the Wherry sweet pitcher grows fast and establishes very quickly.  The distinctive features of this plant are the curve pitchers and rounded flared hood.  While other sweet pitcher varieties will retain their leaves in winter, this one will drop them completely.

Look for red flowers, depending on the variety, in mid to late spring.
