8 Plant Points

Besides watching this plant attract insects from all parts of your garden, the real joy is watching it change colors with the seasons.  In spring, it produces green pitchers and red flowers. By late summer to early fall, its pitchers develop a distinctive yellow hue. By mid-fall after the first frost of the season, upper parts of the pitchers turn neon yellow! By late winter, they turn red.

This pitcher plant is also one of the most vigorous ones available.  If you’re looking for a pitcher plant that grows fast and establishes quickly, this is for you.
