$19.95

10 Plant Points

The sweet pitcher gets both of its common name (sweet pitcher) and Latin name (rubra) from its flower.  It smells sweet and its red.  Simple, eh?  This rare variety of Wherry sweet pitcher, however, has orange pitchers.  So technically, this is a red-flowered pitcher plant that has orange flowers.  Huh?

Regardless of its name, its orange flowers will delight your sense every spring.  Like all other sweet pitchers, this plant grows vigorously.
